Best Buy USA Updates Webstore with PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Overclocked Graphics Card

Best Buy USA has recently added the "PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Overclocked 8 GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card with Dual Fan" black edition to its online store. While NVIDIA and its partners have hinted at upcoming products, an official launch date was not disclosed during the introduction of the "GeForce RTX 5060 Desktop Family." Insider information suggests that the new graphics card may be unveiled at Computex 2025 on May 19. VideoCardz reports that evaluation samples of the GeForce RTX 5060 (non-Ti) were sent out well before the hardware conference this month.

Just two weeks before the rumored simultaneous reveal and retail launch, a basic dual-fan PNY factory overclocked model has surfaced online. Best Buy is offering the card at a price of $299.99, slightly above NVIDIA's starting price of $299. A similar reference model can be found in TechPowerUp's GPU database, leading to speculation about its retail price.

Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB design from NVIDIA received minimal attention last month, with some media members having to purchase units at the $379 MSRP for review purposes. The non-Ti 8 GB cards are not expected to receive widespread critical acclaim, but may appeal to mainstream buyers looking for value for money.

PNY's PR material from mid-April hinted at a "Single Fan RTX 5060" model, although no official images were released. Best Buy's listing, however, includes a detailed image of the AIB's dual-fan solution. The compact design of the card suggests it could easily fit into smaller cases. Unlike GIGABYTE's shorter configuration, PNY has chosen to stick with a standard length PCIe interface.
