ASUS recently unveiled a special edition of the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card exclusively for the Chinese market. This version features a collaboration with the popular Anime character Hatsune Miku. The design goes beyond just a simple sticker, with a complete re-skin that includes color-matched metal accents on the cooler shroud and backplate. Two of the four Axial-Tech fans even come in a turquoise-blue hue.
If you're a fan of the design, be prepared to pay a premium price. ASUS has set the cost of the card at a staggering RMB ¥16,999 (USD $2,369), which is more than double the NVIDIA MSRP for the RTX 5080. This price also exceeds the lowest street prices for the GPU. Despite the high cost, the card still falls short of the street pricing for the GeForce RTX 5090D, which can be found for well above ¥18,000.
