LIAN LI Introduces RB Series Power Supplies with Advanced Cable Management and Next-Gen Compatibility
LIAN LI, renowned for its high-quality PC cases and accessories, has unveiled the RB Series power supply units (PSUs), designed to meet the needs of modern PC builders. Available in 550 W, 650 W, and 750 W variants, the RB Series is 80 Plus Bronze certified, offering up to 85% energy efficiency for reduced power consumption and heat output.
Innovative Cable Management for Cleaner Builds
The RB Series sets itself apart with a built-in cable management system, streamlining the assembly process and improving airflow within the chassis. Each PSU features an integrated cable groove and Velcro straps on three sides, allowing users to neatly secure excess cables along the unit. This thoughtful design minimizes cable clutter, making it easier to achieve a tidy and efficient build.
With its semi-modular layout, the RB Series includes only the essential power cables as fixed, while SATA and peripheral cables can be connected as needed. This approach provides flexibility for various system configurations and helps maintain a clean interior, enhancing both aesthetics and cooling performance.
Modern Power Delivery for High-Performance Hardware
Engineered for compatibility with the latest components, the RB Series is fully compliant with Intel’s ATX 3.1 specification. The 650 W and 750 W models are equipped with a native PCIe Gen 5.1 12V-2x6 connector, capable of delivering up to 450 W for next-generation graphics cards. The 750 W model also includes an additional 12V-2x6 to PCIe 6+2-pin cable, supporting high-end AMD GPUs that require multiple PCIe connections.
Internally, the RB Series utilizes a high-amperage single +12V rail and a DC-to-DC conversion design, ensuring stable voltage regulation and consistent power delivery. These features contribute to reliable system performance, even under demanding workloads.
Efficient and Quiet Operation
To maintain optimal temperatures while minimizing noise, the RB Series employs a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fan. Depending on the model, fan noise ranges from 33.2 dBA to 40.1 dBA, ensuring quiet operation even during intensive tasks. The PSUs are rated for continuous full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to 40°C, making them suitable for a wide range of environments.
