NVIDIA is reportedly preparing a refreshed version of its GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card, this time equipped with 9GB of next-generation GDDR7 memory. Technical Specifications and Performance Enhancements

The existing GeForce RTX 5050 utilizes 8GB of 20 Gbps GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit memory bus, delivering a total bandwidth of 320 GB/s. The new variant is expected to adopt three modules of GDDR7 memory, each with 3GB capacity, resulting in a total of 9GB VRAM across a 96-bit memory interface. While the memory bus width is slightly reduced, the adoption of faster 28 Gbps GDDR7 modules increases total memory bandwidth to 336 GB/s—a roughly 5% improvement over the previous model.
