Samsung Electronics, a leading player in the visual display industry, has announced the latest additions to its Odyssey monitor series: the Odyssey Neo G9 57" (G95NC model) and the Odyssey Ark 55" (G97NC model). These gaming monitors are currently on display at Gamescom 2023, the world's largest event for computer and video games, held in Cologne, Germany from August 23 to 27. The Odyssey Neo G9 57" is also available for global pre-order.

"Our latest monitor technology is essential for gamers to unlock new adventures and perform at their best," said Hoon Chung, EVP of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "The Odyssey monitors enhance immersion and create new experiences for gamers worldwide. Gamescom is the perfect platform to showcase the future of monitors."

Odyssey Neo G9 57" Offers Immersive Gaming Experience

The Odyssey Neo G9 57" (G95NC model) is designed to provide groundbreaking visual experiences for gamers who want to enhance their performance. It features the world's first Dual Ultra-High-Definition (DUHD) screen and a range of high-speed connectivity options. The monitor has already received the Best of Innovation Award at CES 2023.

The 57" 32:9 screen with a 1000R curvature is as wide as two 32" UHD monitors, offering users pin-sharp images and a wide field of view for an unparalleled gaming experience. The Quantum Matrix Technology and Quantum Mini LED lighting in the screen provide better contrast and less blooming, resulting in sharper images.

The Odyssey Neo G9 57" combines Quantum Mini LED lighting with VESA DisplayHDR 1000, delivering vivid and lifelike HDR content with accurate color reproduction. The monitor's gaming performance matches its visual quality, with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms gray-to-gray response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a stable, lag-free picture.

The Odyssey Neo G9 57" offers VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub, allowing gamers to connect multiple devices and elevate their gaming experience.

Upgrade Your Gaming Experience with the Odyssey Ark

The Odyssey Ark is the world's first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen. Samsung has upgraded the Ark based on gamers' feedback, adding new features for connectivity, convenience, and performance.

The monitor's 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time give gamers a competitive edge. The Cockpit Mode offers a vertical orientation for new perspectives.

The Odyssey Ark (G97NC model) now includes the Samsung Multi View feature, allowing users to see up to 4 inputs on the screen simultaneously. It also enhances split-screen capabilities, providing gamers with full command and convenience in one screen. The monitor's Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) switch feature makes it a single command station for multitasking across multiple devices.

The Odyssey Neo G9 is available for pre-order at Gamescom 2023, while the Odyssey Ark will be available for pre-order in September.
